Buy 1970’s Vintage Pet Rocks
If you are old enough to have grown up in the 1970’s you may remember a certain fad item called the Pet Rock. This fad was wildly successful and made its creator, Gary Dahl a millionaire. A typical pet rock comes in a cardboard “cage” or pet carrier with hay or straw like bedding. It also comes with a training manual so you can properly care, feed and teach tricks to your pet rock.
The pet rock has been discontinued for a long time, but thanks to eBay you can still find them! I saw one today that even had a video training manual, which I’ve never seen before…and judging by the number of bids, must be rare. Pet rocks make great gag gifts and can also be an inspirational reminder for you or someone you know who has an entrepreneurial spirit. I have a pet rock sitting on my desk as a reminder that it only takes ONE idea to make a $1,000,000.
